Shopify Rebellion is rebuilding its roster for the 2025 season
Jungler Lee "Bugi" Seong-yeop and Support Tristan "Zeyzal" Stidam have both parted ways with Shopify Rebellion, according to sources close to Sheep Esports. This means Shopify Rebellion will be looking for new players in both those roles as well as top lane — earlier this week, the organization announced that they had parted ways with Aaron "FakeGod" Lee and substitute Jungler Tomio Phanlith "Tomio" Chan, marking a significant shift for the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Bugi is returning to Korea to fulfill his mandatory military service, which will make him unable to continue competing in the North American Conference (LCS) for the 2025 season. Sheep Esports wishes him all the best as he returns home to embark on this important next chapter in his life.
As for Zeyzal, Shopify Rebellion wanted to extend his contract but Zeyzal struggled with homesickness and wants to take a break. Although Zeyzal’s future plans are undecided, Sheep Esports wishes him success in whatever path he chooses to pursue next.
With these key changes, Shopify Rebellion faces a long offseason as they rebuild their roster for the 2025 season, looking to be more competitive than they were this year in the ever-evolving LCS landscape. As Shopify makes its final decisions about its roster and coaching staff, Sheep Esports will report on any updates. To keep up with the offseason at large, check out the Transfers Hub.
