Reptile could have joined Dung Dynasty during the previous offseason
This time, it should finally go through. Last December, Jona “Reptile” Fritz was set to join Muhammed "Agurin" Kocak’s team, Dung Dynasty, in the Prime League. However, for reasons unknown, the team ultimately opted for Nihat "Innaxe" Aliev for the Winter Split of the German championship. But with the Bulgarian-British AD Carry now heading to NORD Esports in the NLC, as previously reported by Sheep Esports, Reptile is now expected to take his place, according to our sources.
Built from the remnants of NNO Prime, Dung Dynasty experienced a minor setback in the Prime League this winter. With the league’s overall level dropping significantly and both Unicorns of Love Sexy Edition and Eintracht Spandau failing to perform, the path to a top-two finish—and thus qualification for the EMEA Masters—seemed wide open. However, Dung Dynasty was unexpectedly swept 0-3 in the lower bracket final by E WIE EINFACH, falling short of securing a spot for the competition between the best ERL teams.
Time for redemption
After a false start, Reptile should now finally get his chance at redemption. Three years ago, the German AD Carry was considered one of the most promising prospects in the ERLs, winning the NLC in Summer 2022 and then the Prime League in Spring 2023. These achievements earned him a place in Fnatic’s academy for the Summer Split of 2023.
Yet from that moment on, everything unraveled. In the Rift, Fnatic TQ and Reptile completely missed their mark that split, finishing in a disappointing ninth place. More notably, he lost his spot in the team before the final two matches. Having stayed out of competition throughout 2024, the ADC remained active within the League of Legends ecosystem, as a streamer.
