The players & staff involved already know about this decision despite having two games left to play
Rebels Gaming is set to bench all of its players after this Spring Split as the organization will be looking to rebuild for the next season. The coaching staff is also affected by this decision, as told by sources to Sheep Esports.
This is a notable decision considering that Rebels Gaming still has to play two more games in the Superliga this split. While those games will be played with the current roster, players are already aware of this change.
Sources claim that the main reasons behind this decision are poor results and the cost of the current roster. At the time of writing this article, Rebels Gaming is sitting at a score of 5-11 with no chances of making playoffs. The team is also sitting on a seven-game losing streak.
While the decision to bench the full roster is recent, sources close to the organization claim that players were made aware throughout the split about the risk of being cut from the starting roster.
As a reminder, the current roster of Rebels Gaming affected by this news is:
Toplane: R4VEN 🇵🇱
Jungle: AHaHaCiK 🇷🇺
Midlane: Special 🇳🇱
AD Carry: BEAN 🇩🇪
Support: Lekcyc 🇷🇺
The roster for next split is currently unknown but will be updated on Sheep Esports throughout the upcoming offseason.
