Joining in 2022, the duo is entering its 3rd year with the org.
Jungler Ivan "Razork" Martin Diaz and Mid Laner Marek "Humanoid" Brázda have reached agreements to extend their contracts with Fnatic to continue playing in the team's LoL EMEA Championship (LEC) roster until 2025 and 2026, according to Sheep Esports sources.
It is worth mentioning that both players have reduced their salary demands also due to the current economic situation of the League of Legends.
Solo Lane Pillars
If there's one thing that characterizes Fnatic, it's the roller coaster of emotions they provide for their fans. This year has been a journey full of ups and downs for the European club. Struggling at the start of the year, the team was met with challenges in 2023. Finishing ninth in the winter split, the team would, however, improve its results through changes in several of its positions, eventually making it to Worlds. Two common denominators remained through all of FNC's rosters, Razork and Humanoid.
Despite showing shaky results at the start of the competition, the Spanish jungler progressively evolved into one of the team's most reliable players. Starting slow, he eventually was recognized as one of the strongest competitors in his respective position and rose to the top of the LEC. Showcasing multiple play-styles, Razork was able to adapt to different metas and provide different resources to his team, either through supportive means or by taking on the role of carry.
United with his duo, Humanoid found himself following a similar trajectory in 2023. Despite having always been regarded as one of the best mid laners of the league, he has often been criticized by fans for under-performing locally. In spite of this, the Czech mid laner improved throughout the year and eventually regained his spot as one of the league's best players.
With the two players re-signed to its roster until 2025 and 2026 respectively, Fnatic is poised to re-join the LEC with force as it enters the 2024 competitive season. Alongside Oscar "Oscarinin" Muñoz Jiménez as top laner, Oh "Noah" Hyeon-taek as AD Carry, and the acquisition of the South Korean support from Kwangdong Freecs, Yoon "Jun" Se-jun, Fnatic aims to once again compete for the title of European champion.
