Stars in the Mid Lane
In a dazzling move, Heretics has just locked in Luka "Perkz" Perković onto its 2024 LEC roster. Former Vitality, Cloud9, and G2 Esports mid laner, the Croatian player remains one of the most accomplished in Europe to this day. This move aims to reunite the player along with former teammate Martin "Wunder" Nordahl, who was just reported to have found an agreement with Heretics today.
Aside from Wunder and Perkz, the team still currently holds jungler Marcin "Jankos" Jankowski under contract until the end of 2024. Together, the three players were once part of what was historically one of Europe's most dominant teams of all time as they competed under G2 Esports' banner. Together, the players won 4 LEC titles, the Mid-Season Invitational in 2019, and came in 2nd at the World Championship of that same year.
As of the time of writing this article, Team Heretics has not yet locked its plans for the Jungle and AD Carry positions despite currently having the aforementioned Jankos and Victor "Flakked" Lirola Tortosa still under contract through the end of 2024. As reported by blix.gg last month, the team also reportedly found verbal agreements with support player Norman "Kaiser" Kaiser who will be joining along with Perkz from Vitality.
Following this move, the future of former Heretics Mid Laner Vincent "Vetheo" Berrié is currently unknown at the time of writing this article. The French player remains officially under contract with TH through the end of 2024, according to the global contract database.
