VCT Veteran coach will join the young Spanish org.
Coach Rodrigo "Onur" Dalmagro has reached a verbal agreement with Case Esports to join the team's VALORANT squad, according to Sheep Esports sources.
Asserting Dominance in Spain
Throughout the 2023 season, Case Esports has proved to be the most dominant non-VCT Spanish teams in Europe. Winning the Spanish VALORANT Challengers League twice in a row, the org is looking to cement itself as one of the strongest in its region as it pushes for greater heights.
Over his career, Onur has coached several Latin American teams such as KRÜ Esports and Leviatán. With his teams, he has reached the VALORANT Champions twice in a row and even managed to coach his teams to the 2021 international semifinals.
Unfortunately, Onur and his current team, Leviatán, has failed to uphold the coach's past results this year. With a tumultuous 5th place in the VCT Americas League, the team had a resurgence in July where it ended the American Last Chance Qualifier in 2nd place, narrowly missing on an appearance at the Champions tournament.
Through this move, Case expects to secure a strong asset as it aims to consolidate its presence in Spain and hopefully contend for a future promotion to the VCT in the future.
