After a disappointing VCT debut with Gentle Mates, nataNk is headed to the Americas
Nathan "nataNk" Bocqueho is set to join LEVIATÁN ahead of the VCT Americas 2025 season, according to Sheep Esports sources. With French flex player rounding out LEV's roster, this confirms that the organization won't be fielding superstar Erick "aspas" Santos as part of its starting five-man. His future at the organization remains uncertain.
In 2024, nataNk played for Gentle Mates in the VCT EMEA, a key part of the team's Tier 1 debut year after earning the regional Ascension tournament the previous year. At the highest level of competition, though, M8 struggled severely — the French organization never managing to place above 7th all year. Despite their five-man's dominance at the VCL level in 2023, Gentle Mates wiped the slate clean of nearly every player and coach at the end of the 2024 season, choosing to start anew.
Sheep Esports previously reported that Max “Demon1” Mazanov was set to join LEVIATÁN after a disappointing year with NRG — Corbin "C0M" Lee, Francisco "kiNgg" Aravena, and Ian "tex" Botsch will remain on the roster for next year. This year, LEVIATÁN's superstar lineup wasn't good enough to earn an international title. With a few key changes, the reigning VCT Americas champions are once again setting their sights on the biggest trophies in VALORANT.
