SAJATOR looks to continue his success in the SuperLiga
Jan "SAJATOR" Zítek is joining Los Heretics (HRTS) in the Superliga (LVP) ahead of the 2025 season, according to Sheep Esports sources. Since 2023, the Czech midlaner played under Barça eSports (BAR), another team in LVP the esports division of FC Barcelona. While SAJATOR was eyeing potential LFL offers, he ultimately chose to remain in the SuperLiga.
In the four LVP splits SAJATOR competed for Barça, the team displayed middle-of-the-pack results, with 5th and 6th place finishes in the 2023 Spring and Summer Playoffs respectively. The 2024 Spring split was an especially low point for SAJATOR as his team failed to make playoffs with a 4-14 match record and a ninth-place finish in the regular season.
However, a change in the jungle and support positions revitalized BAR into a 13-5 record and the first seed coming into the 2024 Summer Playoffs. With only one best-of-five win required to qualify for grand finals, the team narrowly lost to Los Heretics in a 5-game series, sending them to the lower bracket. There, they defeated Ramboot Club in four games to meet HRTS again in the Grand Finals. Unfortunately for Barça eSports, they ended up falling 0-3 to Los Heretics in their second meeting.
Los Heretics had a much better 2024, back-to-back 1st place finishes in both LVP splits and a top 4 finish at EMEA Masters 2024. Even after the successful year, the team has been exploring options for the midlane ahead of the 2025 season. Kamil "Kamiloo" Haudegond from the LFL Division 2 was one of the primary considerations for the position but was ultimately passed up due to EMEA Regional Leagues (ERL) residency rules. All ERL teams are required to field at least 2 starting players who are considered Locally-Trained Representatives (LTR) to the league the team competes in. SAJATOR is currently considered an LTR for SuperLiga according to Riot Games’ Global Contract Database.
As Team Heretics continue to round out their LEC and ERL rosters, Sheep Esports will continue to report on their offseason. To keep up with the offseason, check out the Sheep Esports Transfer Hub for all the up-to-date rosters coming into 2025.
