They won’t be apart for long. According to Sheep Esports sources — not Adam "Jackies" Jeřábek — Fnatic support Yoon "Jun" Se-jun is set to follow his AD Carry, Oh “Noah” Hyeon-taek, to GIANTX for the next LEC season. Jun will therefore be GX’s second non-resident player for 2025, meaning that the new jungler can no longer be Mingyi "Spica" Lu, even though the Spanish team had still been considering the jungler.

By securing the former Black and Orange botlane, the Spanish team has pulled off one of the offseason's biggest moves. The Noah-Jun duo was one of the strongest in the EMEA League of Legends elite this year. According to Sheep Stats, Noah ranked as the season's 2nd best AD Carry (68/100), while Jun was rated the 3rd best support (71/100).

Jun, who had previously played for DRX Academy in the LCK CL and Freecs in South Korea's top division, joined Fnatic in the 2024 season. Even before official matches began, he was already recognized as one of the best supports in the region in scrims. He quickly lived up to expectations after his stage debut, showcasing his versatility throughout the Winter Split by playing a wide variety of champions with different playstyles — from Nautilus to Renata Glasc, Milio, and Ashe.

First World appearance

For the rest of the season, the meta shifted, requiring him to focus more on tank champions. Jun excelled on picks like Rell and Alistar, dominating other botlane duos with his aggressive style. This synergy with Noah helped Fnatic reach the finals of both the Spring and Summer Splits as well as the Season Finals. However, they were defeated each time by the org's long-standing rival, G2 Esports. Despite these losses, Jun’s performances were remarkable; in all three finals, he outperformed his direct opponent, Mihael "Mikyx" Mehle, with an impressive average rating of 73/100.

Fnatic's season ended in disappointment at the 2024 Worlds, where the team was eliminated at the Swiss Stage. It was Jun’s first appearance at Worlds, where he played just two champions, Rell and Leona, across six games. At GIANTX, Jun will replace another South Korean support, Lee "IgNar" Dong-geun, who also spent much of the year playing tank champions.

GIANTX's 2024 season was mixed: while the team didn't consistently perform, a rising star emerged in their midlane. Czech player Adam "Jackies" Jeřábek showcased his immense talent throughout the year. With the addition of Noah and Jun, Jackies has the potential to make a big leap forward. So far, the 2025 GIANTX roster looks highly promising, and they could soon be serious contenders for the top spots in the league.
