Joblife's application was selected over those of Z10 and Esprit Shonen
Joblife (JL) will be the 10th team to join the LFL in 2025, sources tell Sheep Esports on Tuesday. This exciting development follows the departure of Team du Sud, which spent just one year in the league after being promoted from Division 2. With the slot vacated by Team du Sud, Joblife’s application stood out among contenders, successfully surpassing submissions from Esprit Shonen and Zero Tenacity.
A new era in the LFL
The 2025 season will see the LFL welcoming two new organizations: Joblife and Ici Japon Corp (IJC) which earned AEGIS place after their victory over the Up-and-Down tournament, both coming from Division 2. Co-founded by popular streamer Toma "JL Tomy" Abdellaoui and Samuel Benitah, Joblife have made a name for themself in the VALORANT Challengers League in France over the past two years, where they emerged as double champions this year. The organization has also competed in League of Legends' Division 2 for three years. Although they haven't clinched a title in League of Legends yet, the organization boasts a passionate and dedicated fanbase that mirrors the enthusiasm of its founder.
Joblife's best performance in League of Legends came this year when they finished third in the Spring Split, during a season dominated by IJC and Izidream. Their roster includes players who have gained recognition in the French scene, such as their talented toplaners Mehdi "Potent" Ahmed Bouchaffra in Summer and Erkmen "NuQ" Erdoğdu in Spring.
As the newest addition to the league, Joblife now enter the transfer market, where all possibilities are still on the table. It remains too early to say if any Division 2 players will be promoted along with the team.
In preparation for upcoming roster changes, the team has been added to the Transfers Hub.
