Return of the King
One of the most storied junglers within the Benelux region, Guertas has made a name for himself since his entrance into the league. Most known for his strong shot-calling capabilities, the French player is fondly remembered as a significant asset to ESLOL, notably due to his presence in every single finals the region has had since 2021. In addition to these accomplishments, Guertas has also attended the EMEA Masters four times in a row while competing for GENK.
Unfortunately, the French jungler was left without a competitive home at the end of 2023 when his former organization, KRC Genk Esports, decided to withdraw from the region. Now, Guertas returns with a renewed hunger to compete and dominate the league. Prior to deciding on this new tenure, the player also participated in tryouts abroad and within the Benelux region, ultimately deciding to side with ZennIT.
Though only ending the spring season in third place, ZennIT has shown promise in the first half of 2024. Upgrading in the jungle position, the team now hopes to break past its own limitations through the team-playing strengths of Guertas. Sources indicate that the team also considered Florent "Metroflox" Broucke for its roster, who previously competed for PCS in the LFL Division 2.
