Jungler Philippe "Akabane" Le has reached a verbal agreement with GIANTS in the Superliga. Other junglers being considered by the team include Hakan "Ferret" Mert Çakmak and Lukas "Lurox" Thoma. FC Barcelona is another team that considered Akabane alongside GIANTS this offseason.

Akabane had a successful year with GameWard in the LFL last year, reaching the semifinals of the EU Masters as a French jungler. This year, Akabane had multiple stints with NORD Esports, 3BL Esports, and GamerLegion. This move marks Akabane's return to a prominent ERL (excluding the Prime League's promotion tournament).
