Gakgos is Immortal 2 on VALORANT and has peaked at Challenger 1,200 LP on LoL
Project Conquerors (PCS) have acquired a toplaner with an exceptionally unique profile for the upcoming LFL Division 2 season, sources tell Sheep Esports on Sunday. Indeed, İbrahim “Gakgos” Samet Bulut is an excellent player, but not only in League of Legends. In 2022, at just 14 years old, the Turkish player had already reached Grand Master in League Of Legends and Immortal 3 in VALORANT. Two years later, Gakgos remains Immortal 2 on Riot Games' FPS title and has peaked at Challenger 1,200 LP on the MOBA. In other words, at just 16, Gakgos has the rare privilege of choosing which game to pursue professionally.
A champion pool like Zeus
The toplaner is known for having a hyper-aggressive champion pool constituted of champions such as Irelia, Yasuo, or Fiora. After participation in the TCL Division 2 Qualifiers last year, Gakgos decided to take his chance in League of Legends this year. In January, he joined mCon esports in the Elite Series (the Benelux ERL).
After placing fourth in the Spring Split with mCon esports, he returned to his home region to compete with NASR Esports in Turkey's top-tier league. Although he only finished seventh place in the Summer Split, Gakgos later reached the TCL Season Cup finals, where his team fell short against FUT Esports.
A project to finally conquer?
This offseason, Gakgos is joining Project Conquerors in the LFL Division 2. A team that is coming off two nearly identical LFL seasons: PCS finished 9th in both the Spring Splits of 2023 and 2024 but managed to recover in the respective summer splits.
Ahead of Summer 2024, Project Conquerors overhauled their roster, bringing in jungler Mátyás “Frost” Mátyus, midlaner Erkan “Envy Carry” Şenol, AD Carry Rahand “RustySniper” Akram, and support Emilien “Nsurr” Gergaud. This significant revamp propelled the team to a respectable fifth-place finish.
For 2025, with a rebuild around jungler Frost, PCS will be looking to finally break their curse and start the year with a good spring next year.
