Evil Geniuses has reached a verbal agreement with its new VCT roster for the Season 2024, sources told Sheep Esports on wednesday.

If the agreements are finalized, the roster will compete in VCT Americas, if Evil Geniuses remains in the league.

The team reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Nicholas "NaturE" Garrison, Vincent "Apoth" Le, Phat "supamen" Le and Derrek "Derrek" Ha. In addition to these players, they will continue with the services of Alexander "jawgemo" Mor, who will be the only player to continue from last years EG roster that was able to lift the Champions Trophy.

For the time being, all indications are that Evil Geniuses will remain in VCT in 2024, although several options were discussed during the offseason, including the addition of another team.

New year, new roster

The roster of the current world champion will see a multitude of changes, 4 of the 5 players who managed to win the Champions 2023 have left the team.

Ethan and Demon1 signed for NRG, Boostio was previously announced by 100 Thieves and C0m was Leviatan's recent last minute signing.

NaturE and Derrek are players who last played for 100 Thieves. On the other hand, Supamen has been competing with Faze Clan since 2022.

Apoth is a player who was previously in Evil Geniuses, but as a substitute for the starting team. Apoth will leave his inactive role to move on to compete in VCT in an active position.
