Click will make his rookie debut with Gentle Mates in the VCT next year.
Haydem "Click" Ali is set to join Gentle Mates ahead of the VCT 2025 season, which will mark his Tier 1 competitive debut in VALORANT. The 18-year-old was known primarily for his duelist play in VCL DACH, where he achieved middling results under the banner of SK Gaming. Despite never making it to the Ascension tournament, Click's skill drew interest from many VCT teams — though many decided to go with other options.
Gentle Mates also considered signing KOI's duelist, Kamil "kamo" Frąckowiak, who is set to be bought out by Team Liquid per Sheep Esports reporting. After winning 2023's EMEA Ascension tournament over names like Ascend and Apeks — the team that would go on to win this year's Ascension — M8 built its 2024 team around the core of the roster they won Ascension with. In the end, though, that team couldn't finish above 7th place.
To fight back next season, the roster has undergone a host of changes — Patrik "Minny" Hušek, Robbie “RobbieBk” Boerkamp, and Pontus “Zyppan” Eek have joined the roster as players alongside Alex “Goked” Kie as the new head coach, per Sheep Esports reporting. As Gentle Mates finalizes its VCT roster, Sheep Esports will continue to report on their offseason.
