Kabum negotiates Ceos with Shopify Rebellion in a transfer that is close to R$ 1 million
Brazil will have a representative in the LTA North in 2025. Denilson “Ceos” Oliveira Gonçalves, a three-time CBLOL champion, is practically packed and ready to move to the United States.
According to information obtained by Sheep Esports, the KaBuM support has reached a verbal agreement with Shopify Rebellion — led by Reven, famous in the Brazilian scene as FLanalista, the team previously imported Ju "Bvoy" Yeong-hoon from the CBLOL. Ceos is set to join Bvoy in the botlane, a familiar face for the Brazilian community and a former rival of Ceos's when he played for paiN Gaming in 2022.
The finalized negotiations were anticipated by Ilha das Lendas and confirmed by this report.
Ceos's options this offseason
In Brazil, Ceos was approached by two organizations: Vivo Keyd Stars and RED Canids. The former, though, decided to sign Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus, a European support set to replace Fábio Luis "ProDelta" Bezerra Marques.
RED, for their part, also consulted KaBuM about acquiring Ceos, but balked at the buyout numbers requested for the player's release — since his contract is set to expire in 2025, Ceos could only leave KaBuM under a buyout agreement.
Per Sheep Esports sources, Shopify Rebellion agreed to pay a smaller part of the buyout for Ceos — down from the set buyout clause of R$1 million (~$174,000 USD). At the moment, the two organizations are negotiating to finalize the details of the transfer.
