After a dominant year in the LVP Superliga, Carlsen will make his LEC debut with Team Heretics.
Carl Ulsted "Carlsen" Carlsen will be promoted to the Team Heretics LEC roster ahead of the 2025 season, according to Sheep Esports sources. The 18-year-old toplaner played for Los Heretics in the LVP Superliga this year, where he won both domestic titles and ended the year with a top-four finish at EMEA Masters Summer. As reported by Sheep Esports, Sebastian "Tracyn" Wojtoń is set to replace Carlsen on the LVP roster next year.
For Heretics, Joel "Irrelevant" Miro Scharoll was the premier top lane talent on the market — and their first choice — but, as reported by Sheep Esports, Irrelevant chose to join Team BDS instead. Carlsen, while not as experienced as Irrelevant, is expected to make a strong rookie debut on the LEC stage next year.
After Sheep Esports reported that Victor “Flakked” Lirola would likely be the only member of the 2024 Team Heretics roster to remain with the team, the organization was left with four positions to fill. Alongside Carlsen, former BDS jungler Théo "Sheo" Borile is set to play under the Spanish organization's banner next year, also per Sheep Esports reporting.
As Heretics makes its final decisions about its roster and coaching staff, Sheep Esports will report on any updates. To keep up with the offseason at large, check out the Sheep Esports Transfers Hub.
