The 23-year-old Korean AD Carry will be the last piece to SUP's puzzle.
One of last year’s most promising AD Carry prospects, Jeong "BAO" Hyeon-woo is now set to return to the Turkish Championship League (TCL) under the banner of Papara SuperMassive after spending a year with Gentle Mates in the LFL. Despite rocky results in 2024, the former EMEA Masters champion and three-time TCL finalist is ready to bring an explosive new look to the reigning Turkish champions, hoping to push them beyond their previous limitations.
One Goal: The Championship
The South Korean botlaner embarks on a new journey, as he is set to rejoin the Turkish ERL, where he previously competed for almost two full years. Sources indicate that BAO initially wished to remain with Gentle Mates but was pushed to find a new home as the team did not wish to continue with the Korean prospect and instead acquired Markos "Comp" Stamkopoulos.
Despite their dominance in 2024, Papara SuperMassive are now hoping to finally break their streak of poor results outside the regional ERL. While the team completed a regional golden road by winning back-to-back titles at home, SUP struggled when facing competition from other regions at the EMEA Masters, reaching the knockouts in only one of two splits and failing to advance past the quarterfinals, despite their higher ambitions.
By retaining four members and only replacing former botlaner William "UNF0RGIVEN" Nieminen, the organization now hopes to build on a solid foundation from last year, which narrowly fell short of expectations. Although BAO hasn't achieved great results this year, he is still regarded as a strong individual talent, highlighted by the fact that he almost played in the LEC with BDS last year, had he not had an existing agreement with Gentle Mates, which he chose not to break.
