BAASHH is the last piece of KCBS 2025 roster
Karmine Corp have their five Blue Stars. According to sources close to Sheep Esports, KC have reached a verbal agreement with jungler Oliver “BAASHH” Klitfelt, completing the KCBS lineup set to compete in the upcoming LFL Division 2 season.
BAASHH-ing Through the Rift
The Danish player joins the Blue Stars with two years of ERL experience, having competed in the NLC 2nd Division. His standout performance came last spring when he secured a 4th-place finish with Garden Gaming. More recently, he showcased his skills by reaching the quarterfinals of the Aurora Cup with Lundqvist Lightside.
Known for his prowess on Hecarim, BAASHH has significantly broadened his champion pool, embracing a versatile style. Among his off-meta picks, he enjoys playing Ekko in the jungle, adding unpredictability to his gameplay. During the offseason, BAASHH attracted interest from teams in the NLC's first division, thanks to his growing recognition in the Nordic region. Despite these opportunities, the 19-year-old chose to join the Blue Stars project, signaling his commitment to their vision.
BAASHH’s arrival was made possible after French support Emilien “Nsurr” Gergaud was acquired. The jungler becomes the team’s third international player, joining Italian toplaner Alessandro “Tao” Hong Tao and Romanian AD Carry Costin “Hazel” Pestrițu. Midlaner Mathis “MathisV” Vannieuwenhuyse will round out the roster. To guide them, the Blue Stars will work with Head Coach Mario “CptMario” De La Torre.
A return to the roots
The Blue Stars project was officially unveiled on November 9 during KCX 4 at the U Arena in Paris. During the event, Karmine Corp announced their entry into LFL Division 2, a move enabled by a policy reversal from Webedia. The French circuit’s main organizer had previously prohibited LFL teams from fielding academy rosters in the lower division, a rule that has been rescinded during this offseason.
KC had also set the maximum age for their roster players at 19 but made an exception for Nsurr due to the lack of a convincing profile for the support role. With the roster now complete, Karmine Corp are preparing to return to their roots. Before evolving into Karmine, the organization debuted as Kameto Corp in Division 2 during the Summer 2020. Four years later, the club has established itself among the elite, boasting rosters in the top three tiers of the European League of Legends: LEC, ERL 1 (LFL), and ERL 2 (LFL 2).
