According to sources close to Sheep Esports, Victor "Machuki" Machuca Segura is set to be promoted as Head Coach by Team Heretics for the next LEC split.

Peter Dun returned to Europe exactly 1 year and 4 months ago. The former coach of Evil Geniuses or MAD Lions among other teams, returned from his time in NA with a new challenge, to create a project from scratch for a new team in the league.

A few moments ago we learned via Twitter by Peter Dun that the British coach would take a step back next season. Peter comments in the tweet his personal situation (a future parenthood) and also makes clear that he will continue to help the Spanish team with a clear goal in mind, Worlds 2024.

However, sources indicate that Team Heretics would promote Machuki, current Head Coach of the academy, to the role of Head Coach in the LEC. The Heretics Academy team was the Superliga champion of the 2024 Spring Split and is considered one of the best teams at the regional level.

Machuki became better known during his time at Bisons Eclub, where he played two Superliga finals. After his last split as Head Coach in the Basque team, Machuki arrived to the offseason with the clear objective of joining the best possible sporting project, choosing Los Heretics.

Four months after his arrival at the Madrid outfit, the Spanish coach will take on the role of Head Coach of Team Heretics and will join Artur "Zwyroo" Trojan with a clear objective in mind, to lift the LEC cup and take Heretics to the Worlds 2024.
