After Keria, T1 officially confirm that their star jungler, Oner, will also remain on the roster by signing a 2-year deal
One of the most anticipated offseason signings was made official this Friday: Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun will again be T1's jungler next year. The organization announced on social media that the player has signed a two-year contract, which will run until the end of 2026.
Oner is set to play his fifth consecutive year with T1 in the LCK, having never represented another organization in his career. His professional journey began in 2020 with T1 Academy, and since then, he has remained a steadfast team member. At just 21 years old, he stands out as one of the club's most loyal players and is part of an exclusive group of only ten players to have won the World Championship title at least twice in League of Legends history, following his triumphs in 2023 and 2024.
Only missing the Z and the G
Last year, T1 revealed their entire roster re-signing at once through a teaser video. This year, however, good news for T1 fans seems to be trickling in slowly. Over the past two days, T1 officially announced that Ryu "Keria" Min-seok and Oner will remain on the roster, signing two-year contracts to keep them with the team until the end of 2026. The jungler should be the third T1 player to keep his spot, as Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok's contract runs until 2025. Oner’s signing, one of the most uncertain of this offseason, marks a pivotal moment and strongly hints at the likely extensions of the remaining two members of the legendary ZOFGK lineup. More updates are expected in the coming days.
For now, Oner shared in a video message that while they have achieved the ultimate goal of winning the World Championship twice, he still feels the need to reclaim the LCK title and secure more regional trophies. Like Keria, Oner’s career boasts an unusual record: he has won only one major league split, the 2022 Spring Split, which was the first triumph of the ZOFGK lineup. He also expressed his gratitude to the fanbase and his excitement to create more cherished memories with them.
