LTA North teams won all four best-of-three series during the first round of the LTA Cross Conference
The first round of the LTA Cross Conference highlighted the significant gap between the two divisions of the newly unified American League of Legends region. LTA North teams swept their LTA South counterparts, winning all four best-of-three series. Worse still, the South managed to take only a single game, when Isurus Estrals fell 1-2 to a Team Liquid squad that had yet to reach its expected level. As a result, only Northern teams remain in the final four, and LTA South is already guaranteed to miss out on First Stand, the year’s first international event.
While these disparities were largely anticipated given the relative strength of both regions before the merger, FlyQuest toplaner Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau has taken it upon himself to help bridge the gap. The Belgian player, who secured a 2-0 victory over Leviatán this past weekend, extended an offer of individual coaching sessions to LTA South players on X. “If you want help, I'm happy to review your game and give you pointers on what I think you can work on for next split,” he wrote.
Many players interested
Many players from the region quickly responded to Bwipo’s offer, including Pedro “Tatu” Seixas (Jungler, paiN Gaming), Diego “Brance” Amaral (AD Carry, RED Canids), Leonardo “Hidan” Santos (Toplaner, Fluxo W7M), Luciano “Drakehero” Junior (Jungler, Fluxo W7M), and Pedro “curty” Curty (Toplaner, LOUD Academy). Interest was so high that, just a few hours later, Bwipo followed up with a post in Portuguese announcing that all his available slots had already been filled.
This is far from the first time Bwipo has offered his coaching services. In addition to the content on his YouTube channel, the veteran has previously streamed one-on-one coaching sessions for both European and North American players. In September 2023, he also organized group coaching sessions for aspiring North American pros. More recently, during Worlds, he returned to Europe and gained attention for his candid, in-depth game reviews of professional players.
