Anyone's Legend won their first title by defeating Top Esports 3-1 in the 2024 Demacia Cup
After a dominant final, Anyone's Legend have secured their first-ever organizational title by winning the Demacia Cup. They emerged victorious with a 3-1 score against Top Esports. Notably, both teams fielded their full rosters for the 2025 season, offering a preview of what fans can expect throughout the year.
While the tournament allowed some teams to debut their 2025 rosters, it also gave Anyone's Legend a chance to showcase their two recruits: Li "Flandre" Xuanjun in the toplane and Lee "Tarzan" Seung-yon in the jungle, with the latter earning the MVP title of the Finals. Head Coach Wong "Tabe" Pak-kan confirmed in a post-match interview that team confidence is already high. He expressed certainty that with the continuation of the Fearless Draft format, his players would have ample opportunity to demonstrate their skill, noting that players like Flandre excel when playing confidently and can handle virtually any champion. Indeed, Flandre pulled out a Vladimir pick in Game 2 and revealed post-match that he had also prepared a Warwick top pick.
This might signal the dawn of a new era in Asia, with Anyone's Legend claiming the Demacia Cup and OK BRION taking home the KeSPA Cup in Korea. Could 2025 hold more surprises than anyone expected?
Winter Split Draw Show
The finale concluded with the 2025 LPL Winter Split group draw, revealing four groups of four teams. Each team will face the others in their group in a single best-of-five series using the Fearless Draft format. Notably, this split follows a new structure: only the top two teams from each group will advance to the playoff bracket, while the bottom two teams will be eliminated from the split. The groups were determined based on the teams' performances in 2024.
