The LEC kicks-off on Saturday, January 18, with many costreamers
This Thursday, the LEC announced the costreamers for the upcoming League of Legends EMEA League season, set to begin on Saturday, January 18. Among the standout names is jungler Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski. The Polish player from The Ruddy Sack will serve as Rogue’s English costreamer for the season. As previously reported by Sheep Esports, the European veteran had even been considered by the organization to compete in the LEC this year. Two other former LEC/LCS EU players will be costreamers for the teams.
Antonio "Th3Antonio" Espinosa will be streaming in Spanish for the team with which he has spent his entire career, GIANTX. Former G2 Esports support Kim "Wadid" Bae-in will be one of the Samurai's costreamers, in Korean. Defending champions G2 Esports will also be represented by their content creator Charlie "Kesha" Eriksson for the English community, and by French streamer Jean “Trayton” Medzadourian.
A former professional player, Trayton is one of the most prominent League of Legends streamer in France. Over the past five years, he has also made a name for himself as a caster with OTP, the leading French broadcaster. Deeply involved in the national scene, Trayton maintains close connections with many French professional players and has organized two editions of the SoloQ Challenge in France.
Many Spanish costreamers
Kamel "Kameto" Kebir will unsurprisingly once again be Karmine Corp's costreamer, but another notable French costreamer is Thomas “Zaboutine” Si-Hassen, who will work with Team BDS. The former coach of OpTic Gaming and Immortals in the LCS NA boasts extensive experience as a caster. Zaboutine first appeared on O'Gaming, the precursor to OTP, and later joined the current French broadcasting team. He is also highly active on YouTube, where he offers in-depth interviews and analyses.
Team Heretics co-owner David "TheGrefg" Cánovas, one of the biggest Spanish YouTubers will be the team's costreamer alongside one of the team's ambassadors and former pro player, Jorge "Werlyb" Casanovas. The other Spanish costreamers will be Esportsmaniacos members, who will be streaming for Fnatic, while Knekro will represent Movistar KOI. SK Gaming will also have its costreamer in German, the NNO support Lukas "Karni" Steininger. Other personalities will be able to costreamer the LEC without being directly attached to a team, such as Marc “Caedrel” Lamont, formerly affiliated with Fnatic.
