LazyFeel is the first non-Korean player to compete in the LCK
Last week, DRX announced that their AD Carry, Park “Teddy” Jin-seon, would be unavailable for the opening match of the LCK Cup after exhibiting “symptoms of a severe flu.” On Tuesday, the 2022 World Champions explained that the player had been “hospitalized and is currently receiving treatment for the flu.” Consequently, LCK CL team ADC Trần “LazyFeel” Bảo Minh—who stepped in at short notice to begin the season—will continue to hold his position on the main roster “for the foreseeable future.”
An impressive performance against BRION
Additionally, DRX revealed that their LCK coach, Noh “Alive” Jin-wook, will temporarily come out of retirement to fill in for LazyFeel on the LCK CL team. On January 15, LazyFeel made history as the first non-Korean player to compete in the LCK. Despite the challenging circumstances, the Vietnamese ADC delivered an impressive performance against BRION, earning the Player of the Game title for Game 2. DRX also won this BO, which launched the 2025 LCK season.
A few days later, LazyFeel had the honor of facing five-time world champions T1. However, DRX fell 2-0 in that encounter. LazyFeel’s next challenge will be against Freecs on Wednesday, January 22. Two days later, DRX will play their second match of the week, taking on FearX.
