Faker has recorded 666 victories during his 999 first matches
He may no longer have anything to prove, but Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok continues to solidify his legendary status. This Friday, the greatest player in League of Legends history will play his 1,000th game in the South Korean championship, according to the official LCK statistics. Approaching this milestone, Faker lives up to his title of the "Unkillable Demon King" more than ever: across his 999 games for SKT T1 (now T1), he has recorded 666 victories—aptly echoing the devil’s number—against 333 defeats.
Entering the 13th year of his illustrious career, the GOAT boasts a win rate of 66.7% and an equally remarkable KD/A of 4.20. Since his debut in Champions Korea, which later became the LCK, Faker has amassed an unrivaled ten championship titles — he earned the last one in Spring 2022. The midlaner with five world crowns claimed his first domestic title in his rookie year with SKT T1 K, triumphing in a Telecom War grand final against KT Rolster Bullets, in a reverse sweep.
100 victories for T1
This Friday, it will be precisely against KT that Faker will pass this symbolic milestone. Since the Summer 2013 ban on organizations fielding two teams in the same league, T1 has claimed 100 game victories against KT, while Gwak "Bdd" Bo-sung's current team has managed 54, according to Leaguepedia statistics. Over the past twelve years, T1 has emerged victorious in 41 Telecom Wars, compared to just 12 wins for KT. Both teams have the same record at the start of the 2025 season, with a win and a loss in their first two LCK Cup matches.
