The EMEA Masters Summer 2024 Swiss Stage has delivered its verdict. After the 7th round, Papara SuperMassive, Macko Esports, FC Schalke 04 and BK ROG Esports are the last teams to qualify for the next stage of this competition, which brings together the best national teams of the region on League of Legends. They are joining USE, GO, SKP, LH, DP, VITB, BDSA, KCB, EQ, DSR and GK in playoffs. From now on, every matches will be played in Best-of-Five.

In the end, LFL is the big winner of this new 60 teams format since five of their, originally, six representants made it to the round of 16. Prime League is the second most represented, with 3 teams, then comes TCL, SL, and LIT with two teams. This last one, especially, is the big surprise of the tournament. Particularly since Dsyre, Italy second seed, did not drop a single round during the Swiss Stage, despite having two french (GO and BKR) and two turkish (BGT and DP) teams standing in their way. They will sadly have to face Macko Esports in a fratricidal duel to reach the quarter finals.

The Italians can still be comforted with something else, their side of the bracket. While their's is only composed of top 2 to 5 teams in their respective national leagues, the other one stacks - out of eight teams - five national summer champions and KCB, the second seed of LFL that won the competition four times already in his history. Actually, the Blue Wall could get his revenge early on BDSA, in quarter finals, if both teams win their first BO5. But, whatever happens in this side of the bracket, the one team that will be standing over the corpses of their rivals will, without a doubt, be the favourite to win it all in Grand Final, at the Munich Olympic Hall.
