Starting January 31, 2025, Arthur Perticoz will step down as Karmine Corp's CEO to concentrate on shaping the club's strategic direction
Arthur Perticoz, the public face and CEO of Karmine Corp, has announced his decision to step down from the role effective January 31, 2025. In a video released on his personal social media channels, Perticoz reassured fans and stakeholders that he would remain deeply involved in the organization’s strategic direction, emphasizing that this transition is part of a broader restructuring aimed at professionalizing the esports club to meet its growing challenges.
A Turning Point for Karmine Corp
Karmine Corp have seen extraordinary growth since their founding in 2020, evolving from a small content creation initiative into a major international esports organization. With teams competing in high-profile leagues like the League of Legends European Championship (LEC), the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT), and Rocket League tournaments, the club has also built its own stadium and joined the Esports World Cup as one of the 30 most important club in the World. Reflecting on the club’s journey, he described this transition as a natural step to ensure its future success. “We started as a French club, but now we’re on the global stage” he said, emphasizing the importance of restructuring to achieve new goals.
Arthur explained that his current responsibilities—covering strategy, operations, and communication—will be redistributed. While resigning from the public CEO role, he will remain deeply involved in shaping Karmine Corp's strategic direction. A newly appointed executive director will take over operational leadership, and communication efforts will shift to the club’s official channels, supported by its founders. “I’ll now focus solely on strategy, which is crucial for reaching our next objectives” he stated. He reassured fans that the club’s vision remains intact and that these changes are meant to strengthen its foundation.
Preparing for a promising 2025
Arthur Perticoz used the opportunity to dismiss rumors that his decision was due to a loss of confidence in the project. “It’s quite the opposite—I believe in Karmine Corp more than ever” he affirmed. Looking to 2025, the organization plans to build on its existing strengths. Unlike previous years, where rebuilding teams was a primary focus, the coming year will be about refining and evolving established rosters in games like Valorant, League of Legends, and Rocket League.
“For the first time, we’re not in a phase of rebuilding but improving. Our coaching teams remain the same, and we’re making adjustments to the rosters to meet our goals” Arthur explained. He also underscored the club’s commitment to talent development, pointing to its academies and junior teams in Valorant and League of Legends as key drivers for nurturing the next generation of esports professionals.
“2025 will be a landmark year. Everything is in place for us to succeed, and even from behind the scenes, I’ll do everything I can to keep the dream alive.”
